Key Insights
Come ye near unto me, hear ye this;
I have not spoken in secret from the beginning;
from the time that it was, there am I:
and now the Lord GOD, and his Spirit, hath sent me.
Thus saith the LORD, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel;
I am the LORD thy God which teacheth thee to profit,
which leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go.
Critical Points of Note In the Above Passage
God and His Word are inseparable: they are one
The power of the spoken word has been evident from the beginning (John 1:1)
The creative power of God is in His Word (Genesis 1:1)
The Profit Factor is central to God’s redemptive plan
God’s leadership is indispensable to man’s success on earth
- Man’s Role Defined (Genesis 1:26)
In Genesis 1:1 we see that the first thing revealed about the character of God in the Bible is His creative ability. What does this mean? God brings forth, produces, bears fruit, increases etc
Man being created in the image of God means that he was made a duplicate, a kind of what God is; Made in the likeness of God also means that Man possessed the ability to function just like God, he has creative abilities
- The Connection Factor
Man is a spirit in a body and in order to get the full benefit of life on this side of heaven man cannot allow himself to be limited by his body! (Genesis 2:7)
Life in the Garden: Genesis 2:19 God working through Adam who had been given the power to dominate the earth. A perfect scenario.
Adam received leadership as to where to go; what to do and not do. In fact, God’s plan was to protect Adam from the knowledge of evil (Genesis 2:17)
The Fall to sin brought everything down. Imagine the lives of Adam and Eve after they sinned against God: total blockade.
In John 15 Jesus taught about how to produce fruit and much fruit through abiding in Him
The first step into building the re-connection paradigm is to be born again.

The feeding of the 5 thousand (Matt. 14:15-19)
The healings and deliverances
The Church was supposed to continue where Jesus left off. Somehow the Church has become disconnected from the creative abilities of God!
Profit comes out of ideas, creativity and innovation and the Church should have been leading the way, not Bill Gates, Jeff Bezos, Mark Zuckerberg.
