SYNOPSIS OF PENTECOST REVISITED

Key Insights

1.  The Holy Spirit as a Dove. Genesis 8:6-12 

The contrast between the dove and the raven of NOAH’S ARK gives us the following characteristics of the Holy Spirit: chastity, purity, gentleness, tenderness, selflessness, loyalty and commitment (John 1:32-33).

2.  The Holy Spirit as Oil represents the anointing. Exodus 28:31-43

The Holy Spirit anoints the believer to serve and minister; to do good; to save; and to heal.

3.  The Spirit Of Pentecost Means The Unleashing Of Unlimited Power. It Comes Through Impartation (8 Impartations: Speech; Vision; Conviction; Continuance; Love; Unity; Contentment; Addition (Acts 2:4-47). And Impartation Comes Through Obedience, Patient Expectation And Prayer.

The 4 winds are mentioned in Daniel 7:2; 8:8; Revelation 7:1.

 The East Wind of Destruction (Ezekiel 17:10, 19:12; The West Wind of Deliverance (Exodus 10:19, Luke 12:54); The North Wind of Clearing (Job 37:9); The South Wind of pleasantness (Job 37:17, Songs of Solomon 4:16)

 In the current dispensation, the Wind of the Spirit will accomplish a four-fold task: DISRUPTING; DELIVERING; CLEARING; VIVIFYING.
